So Moses Mosheh (mo-sheh') drawing out (of the water), i.e. rescued; Mosheh, the Israelite lawgiver -- Moses. hearkened shama` (shaw-mah') to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention, obedience, etc.; causatively, to tell, etc.) to the voice qowl (kole) from an unused root meaning to call aloud; a voice or sound of his father in law chathan (khaw-than') to give (a daughter) away in marriage; hence (generally) to contract affinity by marriage -- join in affinity, father in law, make marriages, mother in law, son in law. and did `asah (aw-saw') to do or make, in the broadest sense and widest application all that he had said 'amar (aw-mar') to say (used with great latitude) |
