When thou vowest nadar (naw-dar') to promise (pos., to do or give something to God) -- (make a) vow. a vow neder (neh'-der) a promise (to God); also (concretely) a thing promised -- vow(-ed). unto God 'elohiym (el-o-heem') angels, exceeding, God (gods)(-dess, -ly), (very) great, judges, mighty. defer 'achar (aw-khar') to loiter (i.e. be behind); by implication to procrastinate -- continue, defer, delay, hinder, be late (slack), stay (there), tarry (longer). not to pay shalam (shaw-lam') to be safe (in mind, body or estate); figuratively, to be (causatively, make) completed; by implication, to be friendly; by extension, to reciprocate it for he hath no pleasure chephets (khay'-fets) pleasure; hence (abstractly) desire; concretely, a valuable thing; hence (by extension) a matter (as something in mind) in fools kciyl (kes-eel') fat, i.e. (figuratively) stupid or silly -- fool(-ish). pay shalam (shaw-lam') to be safe (in mind, body or estate); figuratively, to be (causatively, make) completed; by implication, to be friendly; by extension, to reciprocate that which thou hast vowed nadar (naw-dar') to promise (pos., to do or give something to God) -- (make a) vow. |
