He that observeth shamar (shaw-mar') to hedge about (as with thorns), i.e. guard; generally, to protect, attend to, etc. the wind ruwach (roo'-akh) wind; by resemblance breath, i.e. a sensible (or even violent) exhalation; figuratively, life, anger, unsubstantiality; by extension, a region of the sky; by resemblance spirit, but only of a rational being shall not sow zara` (zaw-rah') to sow; figuratively, to disseminate, plant, fructify -- bear, conceive seed, set with sow(-er), yield. and he that regardeth ra'ah (raw-aw') to see, literally or figuratively (in numerous applications, direct and implied, transitive, intransitive and causative)surely, think, view, visions. the clouds `ab (awb) an envelope, i.e. darkness (or density, 2 Chron. 4:17); specifically, a (scud) cloud; also a copse -- clay, (thick) cloud, thick, thicket. shall not reap qatsar (kaw-tsar') to dock off, i.e. curtail (transitive or intransitive, literal or figurative); especially to harvest (grass or grain) |
