And I took taphas (taw-fas') to manipulate, i.e. seize; chiefly to capture, wield, specifically, to overlay; figuratively, to use unwarrantably the two shnayim (shen-ah'-yim) two; also (as ordinal) twofold -- both, couple, double, second, twain, + twelfth, + twelve, + twenty (sixscore) thousand, twice, two. tables luwach (loo'-akh) probably meaning to glisten; a tablet (as polished), of stone, wood or metal -- board, plate, table. and cast shalak (shaw-lak) to throw out, down or away -- adventure, cast (away, down, forth, off, out), hurl, pluck, throw. them out of `al (al) above, over, upon, or against (yet always in this last relation with a downward aspect) in a great variety of applications (as follow) my two shnayim (shen-ah'-yim) two; also (as ordinal) twofold -- both, couple, double, second, twain, + twelfth, + twelve, + twenty (sixscore) thousand, twice, two. hands yad (yawd) a hand (the open one (indicating power, means, direction, etc.), and brake shabar (shaw-bar') to burst -- break (down, off, in pieces, up), broken(-hearted), bring to the birth, crush, destroy, hurt, quench, quite, tear them before your eyes `ayin (ah'-yin) an eye; by analogy, a fountain (as the eye of the landscape) |
