Now these are the commandments mitsvah (mits-vaw') a command, whether human or divine (collectively, the Law) -- (which was) commanded(-ment), law, ordinance, precept. the statutes choq (khoke) an enactment; hence, an appointment (of time, space, quantity, labor or usage) and the judgments mishpat (mish-pawt') a verdict (favorable or unfavorable) pronounced judicially, especially a sentence or formal decree (human or (participant's) divine law, individual or collective which the LORD Yhovah (yeh-ho-vaw') (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God -- Jehovah, the Lord. your God 'elohiym (el-o-heem') angels, exceeding, God (gods)(-dess, -ly), (very) great, judges, mighty. commanded tsavah (tsaw-vaw') (intensively) to constitute, enjoin -- appoint, (for-)bid, (give a) charge, (give a, give in, send with) command(-er, -ment), send a messenger, put, (set) in order. to teach lamad (law-mad') to goad, i.e. (by implication) to teach (the rod being an Oriental incentive):(un-) accustomed, diligently, expert, instruct, learn, skilful, teach(-er, -ing). you that ye might do `asah (aw-saw') to do or make, in the broadest sense and widest application them in the land 'erets (eh'-rets) the earth (at large, or partitively a land) -- common, country, earth, field, ground, land, natins, way, + wilderness, world. whither ye go `abar (aw-bar') to cross over; used very widely of any transition (literal or figurative; transitive, intransitive, intensive, causative); specifically, to cover (in copulation) to possess yarash (yaw-rash') to occupy (by driving out previous tenants, and possessing in their place); by implication, to seize, to rob, to inherit; also to expel, to impoverish, to ruin it |
