And Moses Mosheh (mo-sheh') drawing out (of the water), i.e. rescued; Mosheh, the Israelite lawgiver -- Moses. called qara' (kaw-raw') to call out to (i.e. properly, address by name, but used in a wide variety of applications) all Israel Yisra'el (yis-raw-ale') he will rule as God; Jisrael, a symbolical name of Jacob; also (typically) of his posterity: --Israel. and said 'amar (aw-mar') to say (used with great latitude) unto them Hear shama` (shaw-mah') to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention, obedience, etc.; causatively, to tell, etc.) O Israel Yisra'el (yis-raw-ale') he will rule as God; Jisrael, a symbolical name of Jacob; also (typically) of his posterity: --Israel. the statutes choq (khoke) an enactment; hence, an appointment (of time, space, quantity, labor or usage) and judgments mishpat (mish-pawt') a verdict (favorable or unfavorable) pronounced judicially, especially a sentence or formal decree (human or (participant's) divine law, individual or collective which I speak dabar (daw-bar') perhaps properly, to arrange; but used figuratively (of words), to speak; rarely (in a destructive sense) to subdue in your ears 'ozen (o'-zen) broadness. i.e. (concrete) the ear (from its form in man) -- + advertise, audience, + displease, ear, hearing, + show. this day yowm (yome) a day (as the warm hours), that ye may learn lamad (law-mad') to goad, i.e. (by implication) to teach (the rod being an Oriental incentive):(un-) accustomed, diligently, expert, instruct, learn, skilful, teach(-er, -ing). them and keep shamar (shaw-mar') to hedge about (as with thorns), i.e. guard; generally, to protect, attend to, etc. and do `asah (aw-saw') to do or make, in the broadest sense and widest application them |
