And in all that mighty chazaq (khaw-zawk') strong (usu. in a bad sense, hard, bold, violent) -- harder, hottest, + impudent, loud, mighty, sore, stiff(-hearted), strong(-er). hand yad (yawd) a hand (the open one (indicating power, means, direction, etc.), and in all the great gadowl (gaw-dole') great (in any sense); hence, older; also insolent terror mowra' (mo-raw') fear; by implication, a fearful thing or deed -- dread, (that ought to be) fear(-ed), terribleness, terror. which Moses Mosheh (mo-sheh') drawing out (of the water), i.e. rescued; Mosheh, the Israelite lawgiver -- Moses. shewed `asah (aw-saw') to do or make, in the broadest sense and widest application in the sight `ayin (ah'-yin) an eye; by analogy, a fountain (as the eye of the landscape) of all Israel Yisra'el (yis-raw-ale') he will rule as God; Jisrael, a symbolical name of Jacob; also (typically) of his posterity: --Israel. |
