And for the chief things ro'sh (roshe) the head (as most easily shaken), whether literal or figurative (in many applications, of place, time, rank, itc.) of the ancient qedem (keh'-dem) the front, of place (absolutely, the fore part, relatively the East) or time (antiquity); often used adverbially (before, anciently, eastward) mountains harar (haw-rawr') a mountain -- hill, mount(-ain). and for the precious things meged (meh'-ghed) a distinguished thing; hence something valuable, as a product or fruit -- pleasant, precious fruit (thing). of the lasting `owlam (o-lawm') concealed, i.e. the vanishing point; generally, time out of mind (past or future), i.e. (practically) eternity; frequentatively, adverbial (especially with prepositional prefix) always hills gib`ah (ghib-aw') a hillock -- hill, little hill. |
