And Moses Mosheh (mo-sheh') drawing out (of the water), i.e. rescued; Mosheh, the Israelite lawgiver -- Moses. made an end kalah (kaw-law') to end, whether intransitive (to cease, be finished, perish) or transitived (to complete, prepare, consume) of speaking dabar (daw-bar') perhaps properly, to arrange; but used figuratively (of words), to speak; rarely (in a destructive sense) to subdue all these words dabar (daw-baw') a word; by implication, a matter (as spoken of) or thing; adverbially, a cause to all Israel Yisra'el (yis-raw-ale') he will rule as God; Jisrael, a symbolical name of Jacob; also (typically) of his posterity: --Israel. |
