They shall be burnt mazeh (maw-zeh') exhausted -- burnt. with hunger ra`ab (raw-awb') hunger (more or less extensive) -- dearth, famine, + famished, hunger. and devoured lacham (law-kham') to feed on; figuratively, to consume; by implication, to battle (as destruction) -- devour, eat, ever, fight(-ing), overcome, prevail, (make) war(-ring). with burning heat resheph (reh'-shef) a live coal; by analogy lightning; figuratively, an arrow, (as flashing through the air); specifically, fever -- arrow, (burning) coal, burning heat, + spark, hot thunderbolt. and with bitter mriyriy (mer-ee-ree') bitter, i.e. poisonous -- bitter. destruction qeteb (keh'-teb) ruin -- destroying, destruction. I will also send shalach (shaw-lakh') to send away, for, or out (in a great variety of applications) the teeth shen (shane) a tooth (as sharp); specifically ivory; figuratively, a cliff -- crag, forefront, ivory, sharp, tooth. of beasts bhemah (be-hay-maw') a dumb beast; especially any large quadruped or animal (often collective) -- beast, cattle. upon them with the poison chemah (khay-maw') heat; figuratively, anger, poison (from its fever) -- anger, bottles, hot displeasure, furious(-ly, -ry), heat, indignation, poison, rage, wrath(-ful). of serpents zachal (zaw-khal') to crawl; by implication, to fear -- be afraid, serpent, worm. of the dust `aphar (aw-fawr') dust (as powdered or gray); hence, clay, earth, mud -- ashes, dust, earth, ground, morter, powder, rubbish. |
