As an eagle nesher (neh'-sher) the eagle (or other large bird of prey) -- eagle. stirreth up `uwr (oor) to wake -- (a-)wake(-n, up), lift up (self), master, raise (up), stir up (self). her nest qen (kane) a nest (as fixed), sometimes including the nestlings; figuratively, a chamber or dwelling -- nest, room. fluttereth rachaph (raw-khaf') to brood; by implication, to be relaxed -- flutter, move, shake. over her young gowzal (go-zawl') a nestling (as being comparatively nude of feathers) -- young (pigeon). spreadeth abroad paras (paw-ras') to break apart, disperse, etc. -- break, chop in pieces, lay open, scatter, spread (abroad, forth, selves, out), stretch (forth, out). her wings kanaph (kaw-nawf') an edge or extremity; specifically (of a bird or army) a wing, (of a garment or bed-clothing) a flap, (of the earth) a quarter, (of a building) a pinnacle taketh laqach (law-kakh') to take (in the widest variety of applications) them beareth nasa' (naw-saw') to lift, in a great variety of applications, literal and figurative, absol. and rel.
