O Lord 'Adonay (ad-o-noy') the Lord (used as a proper name of God only) -- (my) Lord. GOD Yhovih (yeh-ho-vee') God. thou hast begun chalal (khaw-lal') to bore, i.e. (by implication) to wound, to dissolve; figuratively, to profane (a person, place or thing), to break (one's word), to begin (as if by an opening wedge) instruments, pollute, (cast as) profane (self), prostitute, slay (slain), sorrow, stain, wound. to shew ra'ah (raw-aw') to see, literally or figuratively (in numerous applications, direct and implied, transitive, intransitive and causative)surely, think, view, visions. thy servant `ebed (eh'-bed) a servant -- bondage, bondman, (bond-)servant, (man-)servant. thy greatness godel (go'-del) magnitude -- greatness, stout(-ness). and thy mighty chazaq (khaw-zawk') strong (usu. in a bad sense, hard, bold, violent) -- harder, hottest, + impudent, loud, mighty, sore, stiff(-hearted), strong(-er). hand yad (yawd) a hand (the open one (indicating power, means, direction, etc.), for what God 'el (ale) strength; as adjective, mighty; especially the Almighty (but used also of any deity) is there in heaven shamayim (shaw-mah'-yim) air, astrologer, heaven(-s). or in earth 'erets (eh'-rets) the earth (at large, or partitively a land) -- common, country, earth, field, ground, land, natins, way, + wilderness, world. that can do `asah (aw-saw') to do or make, in the broadest sense and widest application according to thy works ma`aseh (mah-as-eh') an action (good or bad); generally, a transaction; abstractly, activity; by implication, a product (specifically, a poem) or (generally) property and according to thy might gbuwrah (gheb-oo-raw') force; by implication, valor, victory -- force, mastery, might, mighty (act, power), power, strength. |
