(the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God -- Jehovah, the Lord.

a day (as the warm hours),
to be his peculiar

wealth (as closely shut up) -- jewel, peculiar (treasure), proper good, special.
people

as he hath promised
dabar (daw-bar')
perhaps properly, to arrange; but used figuratively (of words), to speak; rarely (in a destructive sense) to subdue
thee and that thou shouldest keep
shamar (shaw-mar')
to hedge about (as with thorns), i.e. guard; generally, to protect, attend to, etc.
all his commandments
mitsvah (mits-vaw')
