Thou hast avouched 'amar (aw-mar') to say (used with great latitude) the LORD Yhovah (yeh-ho-vaw') (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God -- Jehovah, the Lord. this day yowm (yome) a day (as the warm hours), to be thy God 'elohiym (el-o-heem') angels, exceeding, God (gods)(-dess, -ly), (very) great, judges, mighty. and to walk yalak (yaw-lak') to walk; causatively, to carry (in various senses) in his ways derek (deh'-rek) a road (as trodden); figuratively, a course of life or mode of action, often adverb and to keep shamar (shaw-mar') to hedge about (as with thorns), i.e. guard; generally, to protect, attend to, etc. his statutes choq (khoke) an enactment; hence, an appointment (of time, space, quantity, labor or usage) and his commandments mitsvah (mits-vaw') a command, whether human or divine (collectively, the Law) -- (which was) commanded(-ment), law, ordinance, precept. and his judgments mishpat (mish-pawt') a verdict (favorable or unfavorable) pronounced judicially, especially a sentence or formal decree (human or (participant's) divine law, individual or collective and to hearken shama` (shaw-mah') to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention, obedience, etc.; causatively, to tell, etc.) unto his voice qowl (kole) from an unused root meaning to call aloud; a voice or sound |
