Then thou shalt say 'amar (aw-mar') to say (used with great latitude) before paniym (paw-neem') the face (as the part that turns); used in a great variety of applications (literally and figuratively); also (with prepositional prefix) as a preposition (before, etc.) the LORD Yhovah (yeh-ho-vaw') (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God -- Jehovah, the Lord. thy God 'elohiym (el-o-heem') angels, exceeding, God (gods)(-dess, -ly), (very) great, judges, mighty. I have brought away ba`ar (baw-ar') to kindle, i.e. consume (by fire or by eating); also to be(-come) brutish the hallowed things qodesh (ko'-desh) a sacred place or thing; rarely abstract, sanctity -- consecrated (thing), dedicated (thing), hallowed (thing), holiness, (most) holy (day, portion, thing), saint, sanctuary. out of mine house bayith (bah'-yith) a house (in the greatest variation of applications, especially family, etc.) and also have given nathan (naw-than') to give, used with greatest latitude of application (put, make, etc.) them unto the Levite Leviyiy (lay-vee-ee') a Levite or descendant of Levi -- Leviite. and unto the stranger ger (gare) a guest; by implication, a foreigner -- alien, sojourner, stranger. to the fatherless yathowm (yaw-thome') a bereaved person -- fatherless (child), orphan. and to the widow 'almanah (al-maw-naw') a widow; also a desolate place -- desolate house (palace), widow. according to all thy commandments mitsvah (mits-vaw') a command, whether human or divine (collectively, the Law) -- (which was) commanded(-ment), law, ordinance, precept. which thou hast commanded tsavah (tsaw-vaw') (intensively) to constitute, enjoin -- appoint, (for-)bid, (give a) charge, (give a, give in, send with) command(-er, -ment), send a messenger, put, (set) in order. me I have not transgressed `abar (aw-bar') to cross over; used very widely of any transition (literal or figurative; transitive, intransitive, intensive, causative); specifically, to cover (in copulation) thy commandments mitsvah (mits-vaw') a command, whether human or divine (collectively, the Law) -- (which was) commanded(-ment), law, ordinance, precept. neither have I forgotten shakach (shaw-kakh') to mislay, i.e. to be oblivious of, from want of memory or attention -- at all, (cause to) forget. them |
