And this shall be the priest's kohen (ko-hane') literally, one officiating, a priest; also (by courtesy) an acting priest (although a layman) -- chief ruler, own, priest, prince, principal officer. due mishpat (mish-pawt') a verdict (favorable or unfavorable) pronounced judicially, especially a sentence or formal decree (human or (participant's) divine law, individual or collective from the people `am (am) a people (as a congregated unit); specifically, a tribe (as those of Israel); hence (collectively) troops or attendants; figuratively, a flock -- folk, men, nation, people. from them that offer zabach (zaw-bakh') to slaughter an animal (usually in sacrifice) -- kill, offer, (do) sacrifice, slay. a sacrifice zebach (zeh'-bakh) a slaughter, i.e. the flesh of an animal; by implication, a sacrifice (the victim or the act) -- offer(-ing), sacrifice. whether it be ox showr (shore) a bullock (as a traveller) -- bull(-ock), cow, ox or sheep seh (seh) a member of a flock, i.e. a sheep or goat -- (lesser, small) cattle, ewe, goat, lamb, sheep. and they shall give nathan (naw-than') to give, used with greatest latitude of application (put, make, etc.) unto the priest kohen (ko-hane') literally, one officiating, a priest; also (by courtesy) an acting priest (although a layman) -- chief ruler, own, priest, prince, principal officer. the shoulder zrowa` (zer-o'-ah) the arm (as stretched out), or (of animals) the foreleg; figuratively, force -- arm, + help, mighty, power, shoulder, strength. and the two cheeks lchiy (lekh-ee') the cheek (from its fleshiness); hence, the jaw-bone -- cheek (bone), jaw (bone). and the maw qebah (kay-baw') the paunch (as a cavity) or first stomach of ruminants -- maw. |
