Therefore thou shalt love 'ahab (aw-hab') to have affection for (sexually or otherwise) -- (be-)love(-d, -ly, -r), like, friend. the LORD Yhovah (yeh-ho-vaw') (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God -- Jehovah, the Lord. thy God 'elohiym (el-o-heem') angels, exceeding, God (gods)(-dess, -ly), (very) great, judges, mighty. and keep shamar (shaw-mar') to hedge about (as with thorns), i.e. guard; generally, to protect, attend to, etc. his charge mishmereth (mish-mer'-reth) watch, i.e. the act (custody), or (concr.) the sentry, the post; obj. preservation, or (concr.) safe; fig. observance, i.e. (abstr.) duty or (obj.) a usage or party -- charge, keep, or to be kept, office, ordinace, safeguard, ward, watch. and his statutes chuqqah (khook-kaw') appointed, custom, manner, ordinance, site, statute. and his judgments mishpat (mish-pawt') a verdict (favorable or unfavorable) pronounced judicially, especially a sentence or formal decree (human or (participant's) divine law, individual or collective and his commandments mitsvah (mits-vaw') a command, whether human or divine (collectively, the Law) -- (which was) commanded(-ment), law, ordinance, precept. alway yowm (yome) a day (as the warm hours), |
