Ye are my brethren 'ach (awkh) a brother (used in the widest sense of literal relationship and metaphorical affinity or resemblance (like 1) -- another, brother(-ly); kindred, like, other. ye are my bones `etsem (eh'tsem) a bone (as strong); by extension, the body; figuratively, the substance, i.e. (as pron.) selfsame -- body, bone, life, (self-)same, strength, very. and my flesh basar (baw-sawr') flesh (from its freshness); by extension, body, person; also (by euphem.) the pudenda of a man -- body, (fat, lean) flesh(-ed), kin, (man-)kind, + nakedness, self, skin. wherefore then are ye the last 'acharown (akh-ar-one') after (-ward), to come, following, hind(-er, -ermost, -most), last, latter, rereward, ut(ter)most. to bring back shuwb (shoob) to turn back (hence, away) transitively or intransitively, literally or figuratively the king melek (meh'-lek) a king -- king, royal. |
