Now my God 'elohiym (el-o-heem') angels, exceeding, God (gods)(-dess, -ly), (very) great, judges, mighty. let I beseech thee thine eyes `ayin (ah'-yin) an eye; by analogy, a fountain (as the eye of the landscape) be open pathach (paw-thakh') to open wide; specifically, to loosen, begin, plough, carve and let thine ears 'ozen (o'-zen) broadness. i.e. (concrete) the ear (from its form in man) -- + advertise, audience, + displease, ear, hearing, + show. be attent qashshab (kash-shawb') hearkening -- attent(-ive). unto the prayer tphillah (tef-il-law') intercession, supplication; by implication, a hymn -- prayer. that is made in this place maqowm (maw-kome') a standing, i.e. a spot; but used widely of a locality (general or specific); also (figuratively) of a condition (of body or mind) |
