Then what prayer tphillah (tef-il-law') intercession, supplication; by implication, a hymn -- prayer. or what supplication tchinnah (tekh-in-naw') graciousness; causatively, entreaty -- favour, grace, supplication. soever shall be made of any man 'adam (aw-dawm') ruddy i.e. a human being (an individual or the species, mankind, etc.) -- another, + hypocrite, + common sort, low, man (mean, of low degree), person. or of all thy people `am (am) a people (as a congregated unit); specifically, a tribe (as those of Israel); hence (collectively) troops or attendants; figuratively, a flock -- folk, men, nation, people. Israel Yisra'el (yis-raw-ale') he will rule as God; Jisrael, a symbolical name of Jacob; also (typically) of his posterity: --Israel. when every one 'iysh (eesh) a man as an individual or a male person; often used as an adjunct to a more definite term (and in such cases frequently not expressed in translation) shall know yada` (yaw-dah') to know (properly, to ascertain by seeing); used in a great variety of senses, figuratively, literally, euphemistically and inferentially his own sore nega` (neh'-gah) a blow (figuratively, infliction); also (by implication) a spot (concretely, a leprous person or dress) -- plague, sore, stricken, stripe, stroke, wound. and his own grief mak'ob (mak-obe') anguish or (figuratively) affliction -- grief, pain, sorrow. and shall spread forth paras (paw-ras') to break apart, disperse, etc. -- break, chop in pieces, lay open, scatter, spread (abroad, forth, selves, out), stretch (forth, out). his hands kaph (kaf) the hollow hand or palm (so of the paw of an animal, of the sole, and even of the bowl of a dish or sling, the handle of a bolt, the leaves of a palm-tree); figuratively, power in this house bayith (bah'-yith) a house (in the greatest variation of applications, especially family, etc.) |
