Then hear shama` (shaw-mah') to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention, obedience, etc.; causatively, to tell, etc.) thou from heaven shamayim (shaw-mah'-yim) air, astrologer, heaven(-s). and do `asah (aw-saw') to do or make, in the broadest sense and widest application and judge shaphat (shaw-fat') to judge, i.e. pronounce sentence (for or against); by implication, to vindicate or punish; by extenssion, to govern; passively, to litigate thy servants `ebed (eh'-bed) a servant -- bondage, bondman, (bond-)servant, (man-)servant. by requiting shuwb (shoob) to turn back (hence, away) transitively or intransitively, literally or figuratively the wicked rasha` (raw-shaw') morally wrong; concretely, an (actively) bad person -- + condemned, guilty, ungodly, wicked (man), that did wrong. by recompensing nathan (naw-than') to give, used with greatest latitude of application (put, make, etc.) his way derek (deh'-rek) a road (as trodden); figuratively, a course of life or mode of action, often adverb upon his own head ro'sh (roshe) the head (as most easily shaken), whether literal or figurative (in many applications, of place, time, rank, itc.) and by justifying tsadaq (tsaw-dak') to be (causatively, make) right (in a moral or forensic sense) -- cleanse, clear self, (be, do) just(-ice, -ify, -ify self), (be turn to) righteous(-ness). the righteous tsaddiyq (tsad-deek') just -- just, lawful, righteous (man). by giving nathan (naw-than') to give, used with greatest latitude of application (put, make, etc.) him according to his righteousness tsdaqah (tsed-aw-kaw') rightness (abstractly), subjectively (rectitude), objectively (justice), morally (virtue) or figuratively (prosperity) -- justice, moderately, right(-eous) (act, -ly, -ness). |
