Now it came to pass when the kingdom mamlakah (mam-law-kaw') dominion, i.e. (abstractly) the estate (rule) or (concretely) the country (realm) -- kingdom, king's, reign, royal. was established chazaq (khaw-zak') to fasten upon; hence, to seize, be strong (figuratively, courageous, causatively strengthen, cure, help, repair, fortify), obstinate; to bind, restrain, conquer to him that he slew harag (haw-rag') to smite with deadly intent -- destroy, out of hand, kill, murder(-er), put to (death), make (slaughter), slay(-er), surely. his servants `ebed (eh'-bed) a servant -- bondage, bondman, (bond-)servant, (man-)servant. that had killed nakah (naw-kaw') to strike (lightly or severely, literally or figuratively) the king melek (meh'-lek) a king -- king, royal. his father 'ab (awb) father, in a literal and immediate, or figurative and remote application) -- chief, (fore-)father(-less), patrimony, principal.
