So Benaiah Bnayah (ben-aw-yaw') Jah has built; Benajah, the name of twelve Israelites -- Benaiah. the son ben (bane) a son (as a builder of the family name), in the widest sense (of literal and figurative relationship, including grandson, subject, nation, quality or condition, etc. of Jehoiada Yhowyada` (yeh-ho-yaw-daw') Jehovah-known; Jehojada, the name of three Israelites -- Jehoiada. went up `alah (aw-law') to ascend, intransitively (be high) or actively (mount); used in a great variety of senses, primary and secondary, literal and figurative (as follow) and fell paga` (paw-gah') to impinge, by accident or violence, or (figuratively) by importunity upon him and slew muwth (mooth) causatively, to kill him and he was buried qabar (kaw-bar') to inter -- in any wise, bury(-ier). in his own house bayith (bah'-yith) a house (in the greatest variation of applications, especially family, etc.) in the wilderness midbar (mid-bawr') a pasture (i.e. open field, whither cattle are driven); by implication, a desert; also speech (including its organs) -- desert, south, speech, wilderness. |
